Conformal coating comparison

Hey! We've been using the AFA200 acrylic conformal coating with good results for awhile, to protect a small PCB from moisture. We've run out of AFA200 and haven't been able to get more now, but have been able to get our hands on some PRF 202 conformal coating instead. The PRF 202 doesn't say it's acrylic though, and I can't even find a manual PDF on it, only the safety data sheet. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge if the PRF 202 is comparable to the AFA200?

They are both labled to be suitable for "environmental protection" of electronics, but that statement doesnt say a lot 😛

Well, we applied the PRF 202 now, so guess we're gonna find out if it works or not 😁

Yes, but there are many different types of conformal coatings. Not thet I have good experiences with any of them.
