I want to be a good circuit designer. Any courses?

I have 6 years firmware experience. There is need in. My company to build power electronics products. I want to improve Skills to build complex schematics which work first time. Power electronics product are also complicated to design. Any resources which can help me to good circuit designer would be a great help.

works first time is possible, but only if you are taking minimum risks and you are doing a lot of checking (means you are closely following working designs and rules). That is the best approach for expensive boards. For cheap boards, you may try to create them quickly, modify and build them again - that may be cheaper and faster then trying to do perfect at the first time.

It took me many years and projects until I felt confident to design a board and send it for fabrication and assembly without prior testing. Even now, a few bugs escape into the first prototype batches.

I recommend building and testing breadboard or simple soldered prototypes as much as possible, especially when using new circuits/components.

When designing a new board, assemble and test them progressively, one block at a time (beginning from power input and moving towards the outputs), or include means to separate each block of circuit (jumpers or connectors), so if one block fails, you don't lose the whole board.

As @Robert Feranec mentioned, do a lot of checking! The CAD software helps detect a lot of possible flaws in the PCB and even on circuit connections.

Sir I am working on EV AC charger level 2...
Now suppose I want to test each block circuit to verify it's behavior is as expected, which software should I use or is used in industry??
Also share resources on how to test each block in software?

Is it pspice, Texas instruments PSpce, or LTspice or any other software?

Yes LTSpice is very good. Now there's a new one called QSpice, from the same developer. Then you can simulate and validate on the hardware using oscilloscopes and so on.

For testing software maybe you'll need to develop special testing routines and then integrate each functionality into the final project.

I'm not familiar with the specifics of EV charging, though. My background is in medical electrical equipment design.

You could say that one of the biggest problems with simulation tools like LTSpice is, that smoke does not come out of it when you make a mistake. It is still up to the designer to verify everything is correct.
You also need to manually add parasitics if you want the results to be more realistic.
